These wooden fish originate from Indonesia. They are hand painted.These were found at an auction in Georgia and although the date they were made is unknown, they are assumed to be old in view of the rusted fishing chains that hold them together. All together, about 20 different sets of fish are available. These would be a great gift for a fisherman in the family. I gave a set to my son after we went out fishing for a day and caught nothing. He was not amused.
Another son who liked to fish once said that unless you catch something, “fishing is just waiting”.
The fish are for sale at $50 per chain plus shipping, handling and sales tax, unless you pick them up in Coral Springs, Florida.
